Jul 18, 2015 · Born into a musical family (her parents were instructors, and her dad was a bass singer in the York Minister Choir), Sara commenced her musical journey as an upright bassist and tympani player. Whilst toiling as a secretary at Polydor Records, Fripp recruited her for LOG wherein she garnered attention aplenty.
Raised in a small town in the west midlands of England, bassist Sara Lee got her big break when she was working as a secretary at Polydor Records. She got a chance to play for legendary musician Robert Fripp, which led to jobs with Robyn Hitchcock and Gang of Four.
