Written by Lynda La Plante as a sequel to her 1980's series, Widows, She's Out takes up the story of the central character, Dolly Rawlins, ten years after the events of the previous series.
She's Out. After prison, Dolly assembles ex-convicts to open a children's home as a front for a mail train robbery. Conflicting motives and a tragic misunderstanding culminate in a disastrous outcome when the women gather to divide the spoils.
