The Hermannskogel is a forested ridge in the Wienerwald. It is both the highest point in the Kahlengebirge and in the city of Vienna. Description. Popular loop in the Vienna Woods near Döbling. The panoramic loop starts at the "Grüass Di a Gott Wirt" and leads along the Grenzweg via the Herzerlwiese, Kogelwiese and Jägerwiese to the "Gasthaus zum Agnesbrünnl". The Hermannskogelweg then leads back to the starting point.

Hermannskogel is the highest hill in the Vienna Woods (Wienerwald) and its highest natural point – a forested ridge at 542 m. above sea level which lies in Vienna´s 19th district Döbling, on the border with Lower Austria. Atop the Hermannskogel is the 27 m. tall Habsburgwarte observation tower.

The circular walk from the Grüaß di a Gott-Wirt at the crossroads Höhenstraße-Sieveringer Straße on the Hermannskogel to Jägerwiese and through the forest back already create the four-year-old children without grumbling.
