Mar 20, 2011 · Writer-director Conor Horgan’s One Hundred Mornings has an intriguing opening. A thirtysomething guy, whose name we eventually learn is Jonathan (Ciarán McMenamin), walks out onto the porch of a reasonably well-kept cabin that’s in the middle of what appears to be rather picturesque country.
A bitterly realistic look at four individuals ill-equipped to last a month without a supermarket, One Hundred Mornings pulls no punches. It is occasionally sensationalist and a little too anxious to keep providing us with action when a slower pace might have served it better, but solid performances carry it along nonetheless.

It is a mystery why it has not as yet been released on DVD, because it is definitely worth catching for fans of the genre. I look forward to what Conor Horgan does next. 12 out of 16 found this helpful.
