Gate is open from 8am to 10pm. If you will be a late arrival, you must call the park at 361-749-5246 prior to 5pm on arrival date for late arrival instructions. There may be periodic fee booth closures, but there will be a self pay station available.

Mustang Island State Park campground has 96 single family campsites located next to a beautiful sandy beach on the Gulf of Mexico. There are 50 primitive drive-up campsites along the beach (non reservable), and 46 developed/reservable sites with water and electric hookups.
