Initiation of separation proceedings is required for soldiers who fail to meet screening table weight and body fat standards during the 24-month period following removal from the weight control program, provided no medical conditions exist (para 18-2a(3)).
Nov 15, 2015 · Unless the member is getting anything less than an Honorable Discharge, they retain their Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits. While it may suck that they retain their benefits even if they aren't holding up their end of the contract (by not maintaining weight standards), that's how it is.
