I used to have this worry as well (and that some of the cast wouldn't be on) and would try to avoid matinees. But recently the majority of the shows I have seen have been matinees and haven't noticed a difference vs. the evening performances. They have been good experiences.

Matinee vs Evening makes little different on Broadway. Some shows have weekly scheduled alternates, usually when one role is too vocally demanding for 8 shows a week to be sustainable. Hadestown is not one of these shows. If it matters that much to you, refund and buy evening tickets. Easy peasy!
