FunetikPrugresiv. •. It's honestly one of the great comedic performances in film history. If you only read the script, it's pretty good but nothing spectacular. The rest of the actors are basically straight roles for him to careen around like a pinball; without his chaotic energy, I think the film would have felt flat.
Only Jim Carrey can get away with doing one in live-action and make it look funny. False Reassurance: Fletcher manages to pull this off once, though. In order to get an extension on the trial without lying he beats himself up in the bathroom, stumbles into the court and truthfully describes his attacker (himself).
