There’s really no wrong choice for school, it’s all a shot in the dark till you get there. But my advice is to pick a school that would suite you best in your interests outside of the classroom, affordability, nightlife you want, etc. because the academics are similar everywhere and your grades mostly depend on your individual effort.

Carleton is generally a commuter school so most people just want to get their degree and move on. The social aspect isn't as strong as say Queens or Western that isn't to say you won't make friends. I'd made some friends in my upper years, being stuck finishing some tough assignments that required everyone helping each other out in order to pass.
Not really my top choice, but they offered an entrance scholarship and it seems like a nice school. It just seems too good. My average isn't that great, and they the second school to give me an offer this early. I just wanted to know what the school is really like from someone that might know.
