But if you like a good caper story, that part of Mistborn should be right up your alley.
I haven’t really read any of Sanderson’s books but really want to get into them. But the synopsis of Mistborn says that it’s a heist story which I’m not that fond of (I read six of crows by Leigh Bardugo recently and it didn’t really click with me).So I was wondering if you could tell me whether all of Mistborn era 1 is a heist story or if I might enjoy it.
The first book is technically Mistborn: The Final Empire, though people just tend to call it Mistborn or Mistborn 1. The entire trilogy consists of The Final Empire (2006), The Well of Ascension (2007), and The Hero of Ages (2008). It’s a hybrid epic fantasy heist story with a focus on political intrigue and powerful action scenes.
