Quebec French (French: français québécois [fʁɑ̃sɛ kebekwa]), also known as Québécois French, is the predominant variety of the French language spoken in Canada. It is the dominant language of the province of Quebec, used in everyday communication, in education, the media, and government.
- The Quebecois Tu. The Quebecois tu is unique for a handful of reasons. Don't worry: They aren't difficult or impossible to remember. Just a bit strange for language learners who are used to standard French.
- The English Influence. Here's the thing: Quebec has both tried to erase and embrace English.
