  6. Dec 6, 2010 · Target Earth is my favorite sci-fi movie from the fifties for several reasons. When I saw it as a kid, it frightened me half to death. The scenes at the beginning when Nora is wandering the empty streets are accompanied by the rhythmic beating of a drum and really set the mood for a fun film-watching experience.
