  2. 1 year ago. Just back from Madrid and we visited the palace on our last day with a guide and found it enjoyable and interesting. However be warned that apart from entrance foyers and two rooms, photography is not allowed and offenders will be shouted at. If you are interested in history then go for it and don't forget the armoury as well.
