The cinematography is pretty great as well for a relatively low-budget TV miniseries. The views of the French countryside and Zurich by night are particularly well-done. Bourne's relationship with Marie is really done well here (again, in contrast to the relationship in the 2002 film).

The Bourne Identity is a fairly enjoyable thriller based on Robert Ludlum's best-seller. Viewers younger than 30 may not remember the dread shadow that the terrorist Carlos cast over Europe during the later years of the Cold War.
When the mysterious man awakens he cannot remember anything, until memory flashbacks reveal a history of violence. The discovery of a hidden clue is the only link he has to track down his true identity. Setting off on a journey of self-discovery he soon learns he is known as Jason Bourne.

Richard Chamberlain makes a perfect Jason Bourne...he's intelligent, handsome, educated. Even when a head injury makes him an amnesiac, his dignity shines through. Chamberlain has starred in many movie roles and mini-series, and does every one credit.
