Jan 23, 2024 · Good news! You’ll see ice year-round in Nuuk! Winter is cold and dark. But you can go snowmobiling, go dog-sledding, and see the northern lights, so that is a huge plus. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend visiting in mid-winter just yet is because Nuuk’s restaurant scene is a work in progress.
