Logo: On a black background, we see a box with a red and white-striped sheet in it, making waves. There is a blue sky above it. Below the box is "COOTE/HAYES", which initially glows but almost immediately dims. The sheet stops waving, and stars twinkle in the sky, causing a bright flash that turns the image into a 2D stylized version with the sky replaced by a blue field with stars in it. The stars are in the pattern of those that appear on the Australian flag, as Coote/Hayes is based there.
Variants:
•A longer version exists. The letters zoom out from a different angle, the flag waves more, then the stars fly from outside the box and come on to the inside of it.
•An extended version also exists. It starts with a close-up shot of the flag. The flag waves revealing a blue sky as the box zooms out, segues into the longer version, this time with the letters zoom out from a different angle intact.
FX/SFX: The waving sheet, the stars, the flash.
Nickname: "The Waving Flag/Sheet II"
Logo: Same as the 1st logo, but the picture is now wider, and "COOTE/HAYES" is above it and "PRODUCTIONS" is below it.

Music/Sound Variant: On PAL prints of Coote/Hayes shows as well as the Paramount Home Entertainment UK VHS release of the 2001 TV Movie Curse of the Tailsman, the music is high pitched.
Availability: First seen on the 2001 TV Movie Curse of the Tailsman. Can be seen on the third and final season of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World.
