My thoughts on former MAPPA director Munehisa Sakai leaving Studio MAPPA. For those unfamiliar with his work, Munehisa Sakai is a former One Piece director, from episodes 244-372, and since 2017, has staged himself inside Studio MAPPA, where his more recent work involve Zombieland saga revenge, and Dance dance danseur.
This is what we know so far. 'Zombie Land Saga' is an original Japanese anime TV series directed by Munehisa Sakai and written by Shigeru Murakoshi. MAPPA studios, Avex Pictures, and Cygames produced the anime series. The premiere episode of 'Zombie Land Saga: Revenge' was released on April 8, 2021, and concluded on June 24, 2021, with 12 episodes.
