The greatness of this scene, as I understand, comes to the fact that the story Oscar tells Nigel ends portraying Mimi as almost 100% evil and only staying with oscar to fuck him up more and more, but this scene shows clearly that Mimi is still in love with Oscar and, perhaps, feel sorry for the way he is.
