We strive to create equitable and meaningful learning experiences from which students will thrive in college, career and community with courage, confidence and joy.
Skyline High School seeks to remain open-access and barrier free to all students for all educational programs, including our IB Programmes. There is no qualification needed other than IBO stated age guidelines. As such, all 11th and 12th grade students are eligible for IB courses at Skyline.
Skyline High School is located on a 45-acre (180,000 m 2) campus at the crest of the Oakland hills. The school is near the Redwood Regional Park and has a panoramic view of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our goal is that all Skyline students will be prepared for and eager to accept the academic, occupational, personal, and practical challenges of life in a dynamic global environment. What is IB? •A highly respected, skill-based university preparatory education for students in grades 11 and 12.
The academic papers seek to complement and focus on the different areas of service in which the scholar will be volunteering i.e. high school, level, neighborhood and broader community level. Papers are part of portfolio and are due per schedule.
