Sharpe is a series of British made for television movie dramas based on the Sharpe novels by Bernard Cornwell. The first movie was Sharpe's Rifles and was released in 1993.

When it comes to the Sharpe series there’s actually a few great moments that blend it to fantasy. Specifically in Rifles and Sword. In Sharpe’s Rifles their guide uses holy water when crossing a river out of fear the river spirits may try to lead them astray.
- Sharpe's Rifles. May 5, 1993. During the Peninsular War in Spain against the French, Sergeant Richard Sharpe saves the life of Arthur Wellesley, the future Duke of Wellington and is promoted to Lieutenant.
- Sharpe's Eagle. May 12, 1993. Sharpe is a Captain saddled with the South Essex, a battalion run by incompetents and filled with soldiers who have never been in battle.
