Shrek first finds Artie at the elite boarding school of Worcestershire Academy, where the latter was being bullied by everyone, due to being an underachiever. Shrek starts to make Artie to go to Far Far Away, but Artie becomes uneasy by Puss and Donkey's bantering of the royal duties that await him and turns the ship back.
He manages to chuck Shrek out and banish them to the Happy Apple, where they will have their party. Deleted Scene 2: When Shrek is in the alternate universe, he travels back to Worcestershire to find Artie. He is indeed no longer the King but is his previous school-life self, being bullied and picked on.
The King promises that if they can find Fiona's cousin Artie, he will make him the next in line, so both Shrek and Fiona would not have to run the country after his death. As Shrek, Donkey and Puss set off to find Artie, Fiona reveals she is pregnant.
