The Old Town Hall was established in 1338 as the seat of the Old Town administration. The oldest part of the complex consists of the southern wing a beautiful Gothic tower with a bay chapel and a unique astronomical clock – known as the Orloj – where, every hour between 9 am and 11 pm, the twelve apostles appear.
How to get to the OId Town Hall. To get to Old Town Square from anywhere in Prague, simply take the metro to Staromestska station. The square is a short walk from there. Once you’re in the square, you can’t miss the Old Town Hall – it’s the large, imposing building in the center of the square.

It is located on the southeast corner of the Old Town Square in the very center of the city and is one of the main attractions in Prague. Its tower offers the best view over Prague.
