Earthshot Prize. The Earthshot Prize is a global environmental award that is rewarded to five winners each year for their contributions towards environmentalism. It was first awarded in 2021 and is planned to run annually until 2030. Each winner receives a grant of £1 million to continue their environmental work.
Earthshot was a global celebration of finalists from around the world, including Costa Rica, the US and Milan. By filming the finalists in their home countries and using local crews for filming ,we were able to limit travel and drive down carbon emissions further, avoiding approximately 110 tonnes of CO2.
