Love Nest is a 1951 American comedy-drama film directed by Joseph Newman and starring June Haver, William Lundigan, Frank Fay, Marilyn Monroe, and Jack Paar. The post-World War II comedy features an early supporting role for Monroe.
Charley refers to Eadie as 'Cynara, Lilith , Cleopatra and Helen of Troy'. 'Cynara' is the title of a poem by Ernest Dowson (1867-1900) (as well as the title of movie, Cynara). Lilith is also the name of a goddess/ demon of the night (from Mesopotamian mythology) and is also the name of Adam's 'first wife'.
