  3. “Zmrzlina” was a favourite word of my colleague who was Italian. Italians stick wovels everywhere, so this word fascinated him. But he also pointed out that the word (as I, a native speaker, was pronouncing it at least) actually has unwritten wovel(s) in it, “uh” sounds that bind some of the consonants.

  5. @yyhy8 Not "a" but we have some sounds that are not symbolised distinctly in our alphabet. "e" can be pronounced close to 'a', but not a exact 'a'. I will symbolise this sound as "ä". If the syllable has a consonant initially and l, m, n, r at the end, It is pronounced as 'ä'. kediler => kedilär (not -lar, but -lär) köpekler => köpeklär merhaba => märhabaa / meraba... ders => därs ...
