    • Jacksonville Jaguars, Travon Walker, DE Georgia. Simply put, Travon Walker was a reach. He was a reach when they drafted him in April, and he is still a reach today.
    • Detroit Lions, Aidan Hutchinson DE Michigan. Hutchinson has been a really good addition to the Detroit Lions defense. He has eight sacks on the season, and he’s also intercepted two passes.
    • Houston Texans, Derek Stingley Jr., DB LSU. Coming out of LSU, Derek Stingley Jr. received a lot of praise as a top defensive back, and was trusted enough to be taken by a young Texans team at third overall who needed much more help than just a cornerback.
    • New York Jets, Ahmad Gardner, CB Cincinnati. Gardner has turned into what the New York Jets were hoping he would be when they drafted him. A shutdown cornerback.

    • Jaguars: Travon Walker, EDGE, Georgia. Grade: B- This is purely a projection. They need edge help, but he plays more like a down 5-technique. He's a good player, a tough player, a physical player, but he isn't an explosive rusher.
    • Lions: Aidan Hutchinson, EDGE, Michigan. Grade: B+ They need a pass rusher in the worst way, and they have to be thrilled that Hutchinson fell to them here.
    • Texans: Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU. Grade: B. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. They play a defense that doesn't put a premium on cornerback, yet they picked one over pass rusher.
    • Jets: Ahmad "Sauce'' Gardner, CB, Cincinnati. Grade: B+ If you are to win the AFC East, you have to stop the Bills and Josh Allen. That means cover corners are at a premium.

    • Arizona Cardinals: C- Best Pick: Third-round edge rusher Myjai Sanders is a long, athletic pass rusher, but he needs to gain weight. That will happen and he will turn out to be a nice rotational player.
    • Atlanta Falcons: B- Best Pick: Third-round quarterback Desmond Ridder will end up as their long-term starter. They waited to take a quarterback, and they landed a good one.
    • Baltimore Ravens: A+ Best Pick: Taking center Tyler Linderbaum with their second first-round pick, acquired in a trade, was a smart move. He will anchor their line for a long time.
    • Buffalo Bills: B. Best Pick: First-round corner Kaiir Elam fills a need and will end up being an outstanding cover player. He has the length and talent to be a lock-down man player.

  3. Apr 30, 2022 · Grade: B+. There's a lot of volume here, which certainly can't hurt given the state of the Giants' roster, but the success of this group will be determined by the pair of top-10 picks. And it's ...

  4. May 1, 2022 · For starters, I wasn’t a big fan of their decision to trade multiple 2022 picks, a 2023 first-round pick, and a 2024 second-round pick to add an extra first-round pick in this draft (they ...
