Bussum ( Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbʏsʏm] ⓘ) is a commuter town and former municipality in the Gooi region in the south east of the province of North Holland in the Netherlands near Hilversum. Since 2016, Bussum has been part of the new municipality of Gooise Meren.
Bussum, gemeente (municipality), west-central Netherlands, near the IJsselmeer (Lake IJssel). Originally a rustic extension of the old fortress town of Naarden, it is now a residential suburb, southeast of Amsterdam, and a resort for the Gooiland region of lakes and woods.

Bussum is a small town south east of Amsterdam. Approximately 30,000 people live in Bussum. Understand. Get in. Map of Bussum. Bussum is easily reached by train: Naarden-Bussum station is 21 minutes from Amsterdam Central, and 23 minutes from Utrecht via Hilversum. The centre of town is about 5–10 minutes walk from the station.
