Synopsis. Billy McCoy presents "Bronco Billy's Wild West Show" a traveling show that has seen better days. When he meets Anoinette, a woman from a rich family who has been left without a dime, she becomes the new assistant in his act. Things don't get much better for the traveling show, but Antoinette warms up to life on the road, and with Billy.

At a gas station he picks up Antoinette Lily (Sondra Locke), a stuck-up woman from a rich family, who was left behind without a penny by her husband John Arlington (Geoffrey Lewis) on their wedding night. Billy likes her looks and hires her as his assistant. She seems to bring them bad luck and the business gets even worse.
