    Philadelphia-born sportscaster best known as the play-by-play man for Seattle Mariners television broadcasts. He is also a football broadcaster who became a fixture on Westwood One's Sunday Night Football in 2006.

    He was a catcher for the Bethany College Bison and played on the school's varsity football team. He got his start in sports media as a sportswriter for the New York Daily News.

    He called perfect games pitched by Philip Humber and Felix Hernandez, the latter of which was the first perfect game in Mariners history.

    He has served as the co-host of the radio show Basketball and Beyond with Coach K along with college basketball coaching legend Mike Krzyzewski.
