  4. Apr 2, 2017 · It’s a very compelling production and it caught me by surprise because it certainly does not look like and 1951 movie. However, I did find a few things about it that I didn’t like. Without further a due, here’s my review of ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’.

  7. A Streetcar Named Desire is a superb film, elevated especially by superb writing and performances. The film does look beautiful, the photography is very skillful especially. Alex North's music is nice and authentic, while the story is always gripping and the direction very good.
