Jun 11, 2019 · Things to Do in Llangollen – Day 2. AM. Visit the Llangollen Railway, LL20 8SN. Drive the Horseshoe Pass. Have lunch at the famous Ponderosa Café, LL20 8DR. PM. (Option 1) Take a walk down the Victoria Promenade. (Option 2) Visit Castell Dinas Brân and Valle Crucis Abbey.
The hardest part of the day is to park the car, although there was plenty of public car-parks so even this was not a burden and we paid £1 for 4 hours. The railway is set in the centre of this beautiful quaint town which is worth exploring. The facilities were clean and the staff at the railway centre were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
