is one of two English dubs of the show of the same name. Its episodes were released on VHS cassettes in South Korea; the dub was also produced in said country.
While the original series lacks any dialogue, the dub was produced in order to teach South Korean children English; thus, the characters were given their own voices, and they speak full sentences; a "Listen & Repeat" segment was also added at the end of each episode, in which a narrator repeats various sentences that were said during the episode. The first season of the series was released in six volumes: the first two volumes contain five episodes, while the remaining volumes contain four episodes.
All six volumes of Pingu were released on July 10, 2000 in South Korea. The series would later re-release on February 2, 2002.
English Pingu (English 핑구) is an English dub of Pingu, produced in South Korea by Dongsung Productions Co., Ltd. (동성프로덕션) and Elite Production, made for educational purposes. The dub never aired on television and was only released on VHS from 2000-2002.

Jun 9, 2021 · This is complete collection of 52 episodes in the TV show, Pingu from 1990 to 1994. They were originally produced by Trickfilmstudio and Otmar Gutmann. These are the ones with the original audio from VHS and TV airings back in the early 90's.
Currently, the show is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Instant Video in the United States. A documentary on the series' production and fans, Pingu - A Cartoon Character who Conquers the World,[24] was produced in 1995 and follows a detective who tries to figure out why Pingu became popular.
