Featured review. One of the top 3 TV shows. Along with "All in the Family" and "Seinfeld", "Starsky & Hutch" was among the best shows ever on the air. From 1975-1979 I had only missed the last episode because it had been moved from 9 to 10 pm, one hour past my curfew.

Some viewers mention that it was one of the best buddy cop series of the 70s. IMO, it's the best buddy cop series of all time. No other two actors, characters in any series come close to them by a mile in terms of chemistry, cuteness and fondness for each other. Their characters complemented each other so well.
