Question. On this subreddit, I learned the youtubepp method of downloading Youtube videos. That has been working great since the Firefox extension method stopped working. Yesterday, the youtubepp method stopped, and a screen said that y2mate was discontinued. Anyone have an alternative method?

THANK YOU!!!! This worked just like y2mate always did: be smart about managing popups & redirects, and it'll do what you want no problem. I was bummed to see y2 down, but once again reddit comes through with multiple working alternatives. Woo-hoo! This one felt the most familiar & easy, but location spoofing &/or VPN are perfectly valid as well.
