Marcy Levy (vocals) was added to the line-up in September 1974. Yvonne Elliman left the band in June 1977.
Eric Clapton first started performing in a duo with fellow blues enthusiast David Brock in the pubs around Surrey, England sometime in 1962. Brock was later one of the founder members of Hawkwind. In January 1963, Clapton met up with Tom McGuiness at the Prince of Wales Pub in New Malden.
