Sep 13, 2018 · The other drawback is price. With an MSRP of $1,899.00, the 9CT is pretty darn expensive, although it does compare well to its competition. All in all, I like PTR’s 9CT. Build quality, comparing it side by side with an MKE and Atlantic Firearms built gun, is very good. Plus it’s 100% American-made from new parts.
Jun 22, 2018 · Here's a quick review. A few months ago I decided my collection was missing a subgun. I did a bunch of research and decided I wanted a MP5 clone, and settled on the PTR 9CT. I picked the PTR because Atlantic Firearms has a killer deal for the pistol with a nice case and brace. PTR also has a great reputation for making quality stuff.

Each model sports an 8.86′ 3-lug barrel, M-LOK handguard, diopter sight and a precision-welded optics rail allowing the shooter to easily add accessories. Firearms ship in a fitted briefcase with 2x magazines, a sight-adjustment tool and a single point sling.
They’ve now released the 9mm 9C, which shows up at retail for around $1,600-$1,800. Unlike pistol-caliber carbines which are required to have a barrel of at least 16″ in length, PTR’s 9C has the familiar 8.86″ barrel but no buttstock and is thus classified as a handgun.
