In 2002, a remix of the song titled P5hng Me A*wy was included on Linkin Park's remix album, Reanimation. After Reanimation was released, the band stopped playing the original Hybrid Theory version at their live shows, instead playing the Reanimation version of the song from 2002 to 2005.
In 2006, the band composed a new version of the song with Mike playing keyboards and Chester singing. The "piano version" includes no rapping, guitar, bass, drums or samples. Therefore, the only members on stage when it is played live are Mike and Chester. The piano version was first played live in Sendai, Japan at the 2006 Summer Sonic Festival. The live recording was also included on the band's LPU 6 CD released in December 2006 for the Linkin Park Underground.
