     You mention in you question that your application uses also MS SQL. In this case, apart from the .NET Framework, you should also be sure to provide an edition of MS-SQL for the client pcs as well. Unless the application is a distributed one, where you would connect to a SQL Server on another server, you will need a copy of SQL Server to be setup on the client pc. You should probably check out either an Express Version or greater edition of MS SQL Server to provide with your application

     Other than that you should create an installer for your application, either by using the MS Visual Studio Setup Project functionality or any third party installer creation appllication.

     Assuming the folder is in Desktop, and the User name of you pc is User1:

     What is the relationship between Git Bash and Linux

     The only relation between Linux and Bash is that Bash is often used on Linux systems (among others). Git Bash is just a Bash that's set up to be able to find the Git tools. This is generally not necessary on Linux systems (so you wouldn't find anything called Git Bash on a Linux system).

     It behaves very differently from the normal command prompt.

     It's a different shell (and a different terminal emulator).

     It seems to behave like Linux.

     Bash does indeed behave the same regardless of whether it runs on Windows or Linux (or OS X, BSD or any other operating system). However that's a property of Bash, not Linux.

     font-size controls the height of characters, not the width: letters in proportional fonts each have a different width, appropriate for the letter (usual example is "W" and "i"). If you want each character to take up the same width, use a monospaced font instead. These are generally less comfortable to read when used for a lot of text (they're fine for words).

     Depending on what font renderer is used by a given browser, even fonts rendered at a particular pixel size may look slightly different on different browsers (or different operating systems running the same browser). This applies to monospaced fonts, too.

     I'd strongly advise against relying on exact pixel-size measurements for any kind of UI, unless you generate bitmaps instead of using fonts so you know exactly what size to expect. (Consider what happens to the UI when a user tries to change the font size to make the text more readable. A given font size may not fit all readers. Another example is words of varying length: if you autofit words to the UI, short words will be big, long words will be tiny.)

     If you work with actual text (rather than pregenerated images), I'd design the UI as much as possible to be flexible and able to deal with most variations in pixel size / screen resolution / zoom / etc.
