    “My Sharona” was The Knack’s debut single and was an instant hit and took off as soon as it was released. The song is one of the greatest one-hit wonders of the 70s and ranked no.1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks.

    “Seasons In The Sun” is an adaption of the Belgian song “Le Moribond” and is written from the perspective of a dying man bidding farewell to his loved ones. Terry Jacks’ version of the song topped numerous charts, including the US Billboard Hot 100, Canada Top Singles, UK Singles, etc.

    “Play That Funky Music” is all about the dilemma the band was going through at the time trying to get out of their comfort zone of rock songs into disco.     Looking Glass wrote this song about a barmaid named ‘Brandy’ who’d be flirted with by many sailors, but she chose to pine for one that left her long ago.
