On 28 February 2023, CONCACAF announced a format change for the 2023–24 season of the CONCACAF Nations League. As a result, no teams will be relegated from the 2022–23 season. The size of League A will be increased from 12 to 16 teams, and will now feature a quarter-final round.

Jul 6, 2023 · Miami, FL (Thursday, July 6, 2023) – Concacaf has announced the schedule for the 2023/24 Concacaf Nations League (CNL). The competition’s third edition will take place during the FIFA International Match Windows of September, October, and November 2023, followed by the CNL Finals in March 2024.
The official draw took place on April 4 in Miami and sub-divided the leagues into groups.
These decisive and exciting matches, featuring the region's eight best men’s national teams, will take place in the Dallas Metropolitan Area during the FIFA Match Window of March 2024 (March 21-24, 2024). The CNLF third edition will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, amongst the four CNL Quarterfinal winners.
