    • Oliver Wells. Oliver Wells (Brian Klugman) is a character on "Bones" that no one at the Jeffersonian really liked, and we have to agree with them. Apart from Hodgins, who he actually gets along with quite well, no one at the lab likes him — and he doesn't care one way or the other.
    • Jessica Warren. Jessica Warren (Laura Spencer) is not as outwardly unlikeable as Wells, but there's not a whole lot we love about her, either. Part of the reason Jessica isn't a particularly beloved character is because she was the last intern to be introduced at the Jeffersonian (she arrived in Season 9), and thus didn't really have a chance to mesh with the team in the way the other interns did.
    • Rodolfo Fuentes. Rodolfo Fuentes (Ignacio Serricchio) is one of the most experienced interns the Jeffersonian has seen. He was a doctor of forensic anthropology back in Cuba, but had to start his career again when he came to America.
    • Colin Fisher. We actually like Colin Fisher (Joel David Moore), and the only reason he's not higher up on this list is that there are other characters we like just a bit more.
    • "Aliens in a Spaceship" (Season 2, Episode 9) When Brennan and Hodgins were buried alive by the Gravedigger, it was an hour so tense it needed a countdown clock, and it's widely accepted as the series' best.
    • "The Parts in the Sum of the Whole" (Season 5, Episode 16) For its 100th episode, Bones flashed back to Booth and Brennan's first case, and it changed everything.
    • "The Verdict in the Story" (Season 3, Episode 13) Bones' best courtroom drama pitted Brennan and her relatives against her work family: Max went to trial, and the Jeffersonian had to testify for the prosecution.
    • "Judas on a Pole" (Season 2, Episode 11) Real-life Brennan, Kathy Reichs, makes a cameo appearance in this episode, which introduces Ryan O'Neal as Brennan's dad, Max—not that he'll admit it.
  1. Bones (TV series) Bones. (TV series) Bones is an American police procedural comedy drama television series created by Hart Hanson for Fox. It premiered on September 13, 2005, and concluded on March 28, 2017, airing for 246 episodes over 12 seasons.

    • The Man in the Fallout Shelter (Season 1 Episode 9) This early episode of Bones has the team at the Jeffersonian quarantined on Christmas Eve, and it gives us a chance to get to know each character just a little more.
    • Two Bodies in the Lab (Season 1 Episode 15) Bones Season 1 Episode 15, “Two Bodies in the Lab,” is the episode that will change the way you listen to Foreigner’s “Hot Blooded,” forever.
    • Aliens in a Spaceship (Season 2 Episode 9) Bones Season 2 Episode 9, “Aliens in a Spaceship,” is one of the most memorable episodes of the show. Period.
    • Stargazer in a Puddle (Season 2 Episode 21) On the Bones Season 2 finale, “Stargazer in a Puddle,” Angela and Hodgins prepare for the wedding, which doesn’t quite go as planned.
    • Season 9: The Recluse in the Recliner. Agent Seeley Booth is prepping for a congressional committee hearing to screen him for a job in the FBI Berlin office, which is supposed to be a formality.
    • Season 7: The Past in the Present. A long arc of chasing serial killer Christopher Pelant culminates in this episode that kept viewers on the edge of their seat.
    • Season 10: The Conspiracy in the Corpse. This season premiere was one of the most heartbreaking episodes in Bones history. After the team realizes that Agent Seeley Booth was framed by the FBI of killing three innocent agents, Dr. Brennan works to free him from jail.
    • Season 6: The Hole in the Heart. This is one of the few episodes that opens up without an extant murder case for the team at the Jeffersonian to solve. Instead, Dr. Hodgins is helping Nigel prepare a mechanical demonstrating that compares human versus tyrannosaurus rex in a fight for a paleontology conference.
  2. Sep 30, 2019 · Moving into the top three, the show's second season demonstrated what Bones was properly capable of.
