Announced in 2018, the next addition to the Joslyn Art Museum will be the Rhonda and Howard Hawks Pavilion, named after the philanthropists who created the Hawks Foundation. The museum closed for construction of the new addition in the spring of 2022 and plans to reopen in 2024.
