- Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Frasier Crane. Grammer joined the cast of Cheers early in his career — 1984, to be exact — growing his slightly neurotic psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane from Boston barfly to Seattle radio host on the 1993 spinoff, Frasier.
- David Hyde Pierce as Dr. Niles Crane. Pierce had dabbled in TV and movies before joining the cast of Frasier as the doc's younger brother, Niles, also a psychiatrist.
- Jane Leeves as Daphne Moon. Leeves had roles on Seinfeld, Murphy Brown and Throb before joining Frasier as patriarch Martin Crane's witty live-in caretaker — and eventual Mrs. Niles Crane.
- Peri Gilpin as Roz Doyle. Gilpin had a string of TV shows under her belt — most notably Flesh 'n' Blood — when she landed the role of Frasier's colleague Roz on Frasier (a role that almost went to Lisa Kudrow!).
