Their leader is the Black Hand, their representative entity is Nekron, and their home planet is Ryut in Sector 666. The Black Lantern Corps was created by Geoff Johns, Ivan Reis, and Ethan Van Sciver, first appearing in Green Lantern (Volume 4) #25.

Nov 30, 2020 · While Nekron and his Corps were defeated, Black Hand returned during the New 52 Green Lantern era with a Black Lantern Ring.He resurrected his family, as well as a whole graveyard of corpses, and even brought deceased Titans from the Source Wall back to "life," proving that Nekron is not necessary to use a Black Ring.
