The Edgar Allan Poe Cottage (or Poe Cottage) is the former home of American writer Edgar Allan Poe. It is located on Kingsbridge Road and the Grand Concourse in the Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx, New York, [2] a short distance from its original location, and is now in the northern part of Poe Park.
The Bronx County Historical Society has administered the Edgar Allan Poe Cottage as a historic house museum since 1975, in cooperation with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation and the Historic House Trust of New York City. enjoy free admission to Poe Cottage.

The Edgar Allan Poe Cottage was designated a New York City Landmark by the Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1966. It was later listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The cottage is also owned and managed by the Historic House Trust.
