Her best known film roles include The Incredible Mr. Limpet, American Gigolo and Sixteen Candles.
Actress Carole Cook showed a knack for comic timing from early on, so much so that the legendary Lucille Ball took her on as a protégée. Cook would make many appearances on Ball's TV shows The Lucy Show (1962) and Here's Lucy (1968) , as well as other shows like Magnum, P.I. (1980) , Dynasty (1981) , and Grey's Anatomy (2005) .
