   • I disliked it (Windows 8.0) because it was pretty much designed strictly for tablet/touch-screen use, and was extremely awkward to use on a desktop or regular laptop. The 8.1 release resolved that, allowing the OS to be easily configured for either tablet or desktop, and was perfectly fine.
