There is upscale shopping on North Palm Canyon Drive, the Palm Springs Art Museum is less than a half mile away, and restaurants and bars are right outside the door.

Hyatt Palm Springs is located smack in the middle of Palm Springs [proper], right in the heart of “the strip”. This part of Palm Springs is LGBTQ-friendly and known for its shopping, nightlife, art galleries, and its many great restaurants.
The Hyatt Palm Springs has parking in their garage for $27 a day. You can also park on the street, but this could be challenging depending on the time of day.

Check-in was fast and easy (as expected). I was thanked for my loyalty, told of the parking options, and then handed by room key.
The bedroom was small, as were the beds. But they were clean and comfortable. However, there was no hiding this room was showing its age was in need of a refresh.
The suite room area was the best part of this room. Large and spacious – with its own TV, couches, and balcony access – this was the perfect place to hang-out or entertain.
The other great feature of this room was the balcony. It was large and had perfect views of the strip and the surrounding Palm Springs area.
The SHARE Small Plate Bistro was the in-house restaurant of the Hyatt Palm Springs, and was also the place where breakfast is served. The breakfast buffet is served at SHARE and costs $23.99 a person.
Outside, the Hyatt Palm Springs has another great spot to hang-out, HooDoo crafted cocktails and food. You can’t tell from this early-morning picture below, but HooDoo is a very popular place for drinks in the afternoon, for guests and non-guests alike.
As I mentioned before, there is a cool little art gallery just behind the front desk (on the right) on the way to the elevators.
