Apr 17, 2001 · The story told in 'Working Girl' is sort of believable. I don't know that someone with as much ambition as Tess would lose items as much as she, but this is a plot fixxer that the scriptwriters just can't resist. Someone who goes to night school would never have as much time (or energy) on her hands as Tess.
