In 1993, Gerald signed with Scotti Brothers/Street Life Records and recorded his debut album entitled First Class Only which Alston believes is one of the best albums he has recorded. In the same year, Gerald reunited with Blue Lovett and The Manhattans for a 30th year reunion performance.
Feb 9, 2007 · Gerald can "sang" some Sam Cook. He has taken on a huge task of regenerating interest in this singer who's life was cut short under a shroud of mystery. He really does sound like Sam Cook. My Aunts will be getting that CD for Christmas. FIRST CLASS ONLY is the finest piece of work Gerald has recorded that I have heard to date.
